1957 18 footer

Ohio | O- 2066 to O- 2199
California | 3NNN

Found with Globetrotter, Wanderer and no nameplates.   One way to recognize the Ohio 1957 from the Ohio 1958 from the California 1957/1958 is the wheel-wheels.   The Ohio '57 has square cutouts, the '58 has peaked, and the California has the teardrop shaped.   1958 was also the first year for the Bargman 99 "Wedding-Cake" taillights, replacing the recessed Bargman 9's that are still standard in 1957. This is also the last year for the 13 end crown panels (some late 1957 models were made with 7 panels).

The interior layouts and windows came in all sorts of customizable configurations as evidenced on this page. The most common is the upper layout - front dinette, rear bed and no bathroom, a layout common from 1953 and the first 18 footer.

This one has a front sofa, like that of a Pacer, instead of the dinette.

The 1957 18 footers finally had a bathroom!==>
(no shower though)

The Wanderer started out in 1954 with it's own unique serial number range (O-2600), but looks to have been rolled into the generic 18 Footer line some time after that. Here is s/n O-2099. Notice is has the 7 Panel end caps that were phased in during the year.
