The "new" shorter length Liner, known as the "Sovereign of the Road" the next year, starts out as a 29' flat tail in late 1953, growing during 1954 to a measured 30' as the rear end is sloped in the back.  First year for Ohio factory.

The Liner shown to the left is serial #O-5006, and the Double Door layout was custom ordered.
