Comment:

The track almost done. "Rail-through" structures are in place. Ties were a mix of brown and gray from ME. Rail was glued down using the Walthers Goo and soldering iron method. Initially I used spikes too, but found they were not needed in almost all cases. Where I did use them I cut my own from .022 spring wire. For track gauges, I sometimes used Rollee's from Railway Engineering, but they had a tendencey to melt. My favorite gauges were some I got back in the 1980's that Rio Grande Models had made. No longer available though.
