Comment:

I spray-painted satin American Accents "Wildflower Blue" to the lower white surface of the overhead valance. Technique is to hold the can about 8" from the surface, moving side to side, which simulates looking up at a broken overcast. Trying to paint what looked like the bottom of cumulous clouds didn't look good. The back walls are painted with a roller using Dutch Boy 13F-3 "Bristol Bay Blue" satin latex paint. (NTS) Next time I'd put the wall color on the vertical surfaces of the valance framework and blend the backdrop and valance underside together using the Wildflower blue.
